Tibetans in Exile Call for Immediate Release of Tibet's Heroes.

The Tibetan Hero, O'dho According to confirmed sources, Tibetan Center for Human Rights and Democracy today declared that O'dho and Apha Bhomo have been conditionally released on August 31st, 2007 after being in prison for more than a month. The two women, both in their 50's, residents of Othok Village, Nyagchuka County, Kardze "Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture" ("TAP"), Sichuan Province, were arbitrarily arrested following an enthronement of Tenzin Delek Rinpoche's portrait at the Kham Nalanda Thekchen Jangchup Choeling

The Tibetan Hero, Apha Bhomo Tenzin Delek Rinpoche is a highly respected Tibetan Buddhist teacher who spearheaded the activities for environmental protection, preservation of Tibetan Buddhism and culture. He was arrested on false charges of carrying out series of bombing incidents in 2002 in Chengdu, Sichuan Province.

Tibetan Women's Association applauds the hard work put in by all Tibetans inside Tibet and in exile who worked together to secure O'dho and Apha Bhomo's freedom. We strongly urge the Chinese Government to release all other Tibetan political prisoners who are suffering for utilizing the freedom of expression.
